Need opinions on this trade please
Hey guys, so I am working on a trade for my RC18B (its in the B/S/T area now) and I have a couple of offers on the table from a couple of members on rctech.net
One offer is for a B44 roller straight up trade
The other offer is for a couple of Hitec servos plus $80 cash
I'm kind of leaning towards the B44 trade but the guy with the servos is very serious The servos are 7966hb and 5625mg.
Opinions?

Re: Need opinions on this trade please
I've seen your ad, and although your mini is nice, man, they are hard to sell. I think in the RC car market they probably have the poorest return on investment. when they are modded it seems to get even worse.
A good used B44 seems to go about 150-175 for a roller, and a B44.1 seems to be right about the 200 range. Those servos in good used condition, about 40 and 25 respectively (hitec has probably the poorest resale value out of any servo, which in my opinion is reflective of their quality issues as a company. Some of their products are good, but some of them are very poor)
Personally I think you might even have a hard time selling your mini at the 150 mark, that said, I would probably trade it for the B44, which you could either keep, or flip and probably easily net 175 in the end or trade it for something youre more interested in.
Sorry if any of that sounds harsh, but it's an honset opinion.

Re: Need opinions on this trade please
Gotta agree with Ford and Don. I'd take the b44 in on trade. If it makes you feel better try to give a partial deal since it is kinda one sided moneywise. Maybe keep some of the excess and try to recoupe some of your loss there. I tried selling one of my newbuilt rc18 awhile back and couldn't get half of a new built team kit with extra hopups so it sits in the drawers with all my other 1/18 scale stuff...
Another thing is if you have seen some of the prices for like the HPI 1/18(?) scale trucks its hard to compete with them. $110 for a new truck that is already fast and tuff is hard to beat. I know I'll die with most of my 1/18 scale associateds

Thanks guys. I figure if I can't unload it via trade or sale I will just keep it. Thing is, it's a great little RC that takes a beating and keeps coming back for more. I'm just looking for something else now.
