I don't think he's ever been gone. You can buy his painted bodies at Pegasus Hobbies.

Re: Andy's back?
I know he's had a lot of financial and personal issues, and has been flying under the radar for a while. Pegasus bodies are all his work.

Re: Andy's back?
I know it's a bit of old news, but I ordered a couple 235mm sauber bodies off his website last week and they were on my front steps in 3 days. Been a while since I've had a body in my hands that had all the bodylines represenative of a 1:1 car, I was really impressed with the quality although window masks and overspray film would've been nice, I guess they are still "old school" in that respect.

Re: Andy's back?
Urban legend is he had them in the back room @ Pegasus Hobbies. Since he left, could only imagine he took them (if the legend was true). I know I took my gold pan in there one time and he had told me he still has storage units full of the pro race chassis kits...but he never did produce one every time I asked.highwayracer wrote:Does anyone know what happened to his molds?

Re: Andy's back?
That's funny... he told me a similar "storage unit" story. He took my card and said he would be in contact. Never heard from him. Heard later that his short term memory is not what it used to be.
At this point I would hope for some vintage paint on some supplied protech's or mirage's and that's about it.
