Old RC instructional videos
Old RC instructional videos
I was youtubing earlier this week and ran across the RC10 video with Jammin Jay, I also found this old school series called Run with the big dogs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrL7rt-YLxQ&feature=related. Both video series were very cool. Any others that anyone recommends? How about some new ones?

I think videos like this are positively excellent - it shows newcomers where we came from! Hopefully it can also show this same group that it doesn't have to be totally complicated to be FUN!
Wherever you go; there you are!

Wow, I haven't seen that video in over 20 years! I came up with the idea and helped make that video when I was 18. Pretty exciting flying down to LA to meet Jammin Jay and the guys at Associated. They were the nicest people ever. The footage of Jay's dad Jim was filmed in the family garage. Jay's mom made us dinner afterward. The beach scene in the intro was actually me driving the car. The beach scenes were done near Santa Cruz, California. We spent about 8 weeks editing it after about 4 days of shooting. The music was all free stuff we got from friends that played in bands. I remember our whole budget for the project was $4500. This was back in 1987. I lost my only copy in a move years ago. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
