Mystery motor plate

Any idea what this motor plate is? I havent come across one before. It seems to be the exact dimensions of the xx plate just different slots cut into it, is it after market? It came with a huge bundle of parts. Think il buff out the scratches and powder coat it. Forgive me if its something obvious!

Got this motor in a car I bought.

Epic can and endbell.
One streak of color left on the decal.

I´m have no idea. Any guesses? :)

Can anyone based on the provided pics tell what manfacture or turn of this motor is? End bell says epic, can is sliver with japan stamp on bottom. Has bearings so it can't be too cheap of a motor. What would be some good replacement brushes? Thanks

So I've had this motor since probably mid 90's or so. Some time in my younger (dumber) days I must have removed the can sticker for one reason or another. Recently I've been digging through my old RC stuff and stumbled across it. I am restoring it...

are there any newer motor plates that are compatible with the 2.25?

I'd really like to keep my original motor plates un modified b/c their finish is still fairly good.

If not, can you still run a stealth properly with only the 3 mounting points...

I guess my answer shouldve been yes there is. Better suited for a graphite chassis or mid setup though.

Bought a sst on fleabay without the center motor plate, kinda bummed trying to find parts for it being that I live is the US of A. Wondering if anyone knows if I could use a motor plate from a different model.

Until recently I didn't know that...

Just wondering if the holes are different on a B2 plate vs. the original. I obviously do not have a B2 plate or transmission to compare.

you can make them work. i've done it a couple times. it's much easier to use them with a graphite chassis though.

I recently purchased a well used RC10T. And the motor plate looks like it has been chewed up. The manual calls for 6604, would the RC10 classic 6603 swap out for this part? Or is the motor plate specific to the truck and I need to keep digging for...
