Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
well, if they're nip, the worlds arms are an 8000 number (8003, but not positive). the team car arms are 7044 i believe. also, the worlds arms have 2 shock mounting positions, where the team car arms have 3.
the worlds arms are noticeably wider at the bulkhead, too.

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
OK cool -
yeah the 7044 set is the one that the rear says should go with the front, but that is of course assuming you want the Team Car stuff...
So then, what is the difference in length from the Worlds front end RPM stuff and say the RC10T arms? How much shorter are they?
Thanks for all this great info. Many things would not be possible without the kind help of people here.

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
here's some comparison pics. the first one is a worlds arm and a 10t, the second is a worlds arm and a stock rc10 widetrack arm. here's some measurements, too. all of them from center to center at the hinge pin.
rc10 - 2"
worlds - 2 3/8"
rc10t - 3 1/8"

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
Jason, it would be cool to have the same comparison pic for the rear arms and maybe put a sticky on this as it is a sooo frequently asked question...

The "official parts ID" sticky? That could get messy...
How about starting with an "aftermarket parts ID" sticky... it'll still get messy and jumbled after a while though...
I guess that's what the search button is for.

Thanks for the photos, it seems no matter how I do things I really just need to have the 91 Worlds RPM arms... I have everything else just not the arms... Well on with the search for the arms then. thanks for all the help.

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
I was looking and thinking last night at the Rear RPM Arms that I have, and they are the white Team Car rear set. Is that different from the worlds car setup or is that what was used? The reason I ask is because I wonder if I got the RPM Worlds Front, and just had the Team Rear if that would make the front arms longer in the rear. Just a question

RPM "Team Car" = stock length armsdanglenode wrote:I was looking and thinking last night at the Rear RPM Arms that I have, and they are the white Team Car rear set. RPM "World's 91 = longer arms
Not sure what "would that make the front arms longer in the rear" means...

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
oh.... hehehe typo
I want to make sure that the Front arms will not be wider or longer than the rear arms. I was wondering if the Worlds front arms would be wider than the rear Team Arms... Does that make sense?

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
the worlds conversion uses a narrow front end, the same as the 10T (right?), therefore the front track width should remain the same.

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
Well the photos above show that the 10T is the longest then the worlds, then the stock arms. But what I am trying to determine is - Will the RPM Worlds front arms work with the RPM Team Rear or is there a special RPM Worlds Rear that matches the front. I dont want to look around all over for a worlds front end if once installed it makes the front wider than the rear... To me, it looks like I could mount Regular RPM Team front arms and be ok, but I dont have those either. Just trying to figure out what to actually look for and make sure I get the right stuff.
Thanks for all the help.

Re: RPM TEAM CAR REAR END KIT
The RPM "World's 91" setup moves both the front and rear inner arm pivot points inwards, retaining the same track width. The arms are longer to compensate for moving the front (via a 10T bulkhead and noseplate [on an alloy chassis]) and rear (via narrowing the chassis via the template and special rear arm mounts). The rear is also "supposed" to use different hub carriers, but stock 10T (or "regular") ones work fine.
