Paypal Alternative
I haven't seen much talk about this, but I have seen a lot of complaints about ebay and paypal.
Amazon payments seems to be a pretty good service with NO FEES for payments to and from individuals, here is a link to their FAQ.

I have not personally used it but I do have an amazon account and its worth a try. I have not looked into buyer / seller protection just thought I would share the link, it would be nice for transactions with trusted board members with no fees at least.

Re: Paypal Alternative
After a hacked account and 10 plus hours on the phone with paypal, ebay and my bank I have a liking to money orders.

Re: Paypal Alternative
If US based banks would remove their heads from their collective backsides, this issue wouldn't be an issue. Canadian banks have electronic money transfers in the form of email money transfers. These are free of charge and instant in most cases. Europeans use electronic money transfers all the time and the majority of those are either super cheap (25-50 cents per transfer) or free of charge. These take a few days usually but it's all doable online OR at your local bank. This is at least how I flip Paypal the bird whenever possible

Re: Paypal Alternative
There should only be a flat fee for each transaction not multiple fees for all kinds of crap on both buyer and seller.Thats why i stick with postal money orders.Bank transfer i woulkdnt do with strangers, they can drain the account with that info.DON

Re: Paypal Alternative
Only if they get your card and pin or your online sign in information and password Don. Check out any German website where they list their payment details right online including Account number and Bank Branch number. That info is useless unless you have their log in info or bank card and pin. There are also checks throughout each process that make sure you're not sending money to the wrong account. The account number is checked against the branch number and name registered to the account.
