Re: Sidewinder body.
Sidewinder was issued in 1988 for the Horizon TQ10, was never supplied in any Associated kit.

Re: Sidewinder body.
Why is my mind drawing a blank related to the box art on the Team Car and seeing a Viper body? I don't doubt you... more over I think I am missing something here. Did they come in box with art other than a Viper?
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: Sidewinder body.
The boxes for the CE and Team car both show the Protech II, in fact if you look at both boxes they just retouched the CE on the box top to make it have a "black" chassis.mrlexan wrote:Why is my mind drawing a blank related to the box art on the Team Car and seeing a Viper body? Re: Sidewinder body.
Temple has that info down! As far as in relation to the box art, the 6035 and 6036 team cars that come with vipers show the protech II on the lid. I think they just have a "team car" and "stealth" yellow sticker on them.
Old school racing all the way!
Re: Sidewinder body.
The very late CEs in the UK (when the Worlds car was out) I think around '95 had a viper body in the box.. At least one of mine did?

Re: Sidewinder body.
Actually the Team Car box is printed "T E A M C A R" on the box top just above where it says RC10, as well as the stealth tranny info being printed on a black field in the upper rh corner. The CE got the slapped on green sticker.

It's really stupid to have this knowledge...

Re: Sidewinder body.
My 6014 (the last of the CE kits, which included a Novak Rooster ESC) was missing the body, but it's very likely the Viper could have been supplied. I also suspect that the very early Team Cars may have shipped with Protech II's.tomstacey wrote:The very late CEs in the UK (when the Worlds car was out) I think around '95 had a viper body in the box.. We really need some hard data from an Associated representative.
