Are you able to stop after this one or are you like me and say you are now more than half way to your second mid in parts alone? This path never ends...

I was just thinking that. With gears and a belt, I think I have another car  Oh, I'd need a pair of rear shocks, the towers, and a few other parts as well.

The whole "replace old parts with new ones" phenomena is dangerous.
I started with my beloved Ultima 2 that were raced to pieces back in the days. Now I got almost 4 Ultima 2's in pieces among with my Option House equipped beauty.
Welcome to heaven! 8)

Btw, great job on the body! Looks awesome!

Talk about sellers remorse! I regretted selling that thing almost immediately so last week, I tracked down the buyer and made an offer to get it back. We came to terms and I just sent the money.

The Optima made it's way home today. I'm so happy to have it back! Still in the condition I sent it. He didnt include the manual but I guess I can find another one of those now.

Guess I never really posted any pictures of the finished product. All parts are Kyosho with the exception of the body and wing (Marwan); maybe one day I'll find some Kyosho replacements for those as well.

I'll clean up the wiring and snap some more pictures tomorrow. The only thing I'd like to find for this one before I call it "done" would be some "new" tires, wheels, rear lower shock eyes, and I need 1 rear sway bar mount (where it attaches to the shock tower) as it has a little damage.
