Good work!! Nice to see a XX being given some love.... its strange as it must have been Losi's most successfull 2wd buggy & there must be 1000s of them languishing in garages & sheds but they just don't seem to crop up that often on ebay (or at least here in the UK) Yet there's obviously a bit of a following for them ,as when they do they tend to make decent amounts considering there somewhat 'undesirable' status.

@ Ben - yes I remember the kingpin mod - I think you had to cut the link positions top off the regular 'C' hub & for clearance, then the Losi 'kit' supplied you with the ball jointed kingpin & a pair of longer turnbuckles.... I didn't try it myself but a number of my fellow racers did, & said it aided stability?

Rick, this looks awesome. I definitely think this should be the car next year. The XX was/is such a great car to drive.

XX's seem to pop up for sale all the time here. They sell for practically nothing. No one seems to want them. I've had a XX since about 95 that I never drove. I tried to sell it and couldn't. I put electronics in it about 2 weeks ago and drove it for the first time. I'm not selling it now! I've heard people complain that they don't turn very well. Mine almost turns too well.

thats what I keep hearing I am going to put my Gear in it and run it around a little and see if I like it better than my Se? but I just completely redid my SE so who knows which one will be better
