You could take the trays off and bolt in some lipo cradles instead. That would be super sweet!

did'nt the trays come with the chassis then , couse it looks that way ?

not on the fotos , but it has an kyosho 240 racing motor , i know from experiance that its faster then standart tamiya motor ,
is there anything faster or should i go straigt to brushles.

Yes they did but they are designed for sub c cells. Nicad or NiMH.

Brushless is lower maintenance and the way to go in my opinion. However there are lots of used brushed motors floating around on feebay for cheap that would give you more power. A 9.5-13.5 brushless or 12-15 turn brushed modified would give you all the power you need and more.

got some bosscat , wishbones to try but they don't fit , they rub on the pivot .
and are 4 mm longer so the camber gets screwed up .

some my search goes for a procat wishbone .

the bosscat arms are they for the front or rear ???

have you removed the outer hole section ??? that was used for the xls ??? and mounted it in the inner holes ???

Well its like this the cat xls has an 2 inner hing hole but you use only one the outer one so if you remove the outer mount and use the inner mount they should fit and be as same with before.if you turn the car around remove the bumper you will se what i mean...

Shall take an pic of mine but i havent got the car here

been awile , they didn't fit .

but found a donor on ebay , hooked everything up and took it for a spin.

the battery has seen its days , 5 min runtime got better after charges,

but not like new

15 year something old grease has seen better days so a good cleaning relubing is always a good choise.
