Tube frame attempt

Post by Mindwarp »

My first attempt at trying to build a tube frame. I'm thinking of building some type of sand rail.

Details please. :D

And what kind of keyboard is that? The spacing between keys is a bit different than most I've seen.

Nevermind, I see the Logitech now. I like their remotes. :D

Well, it's done with brake lines and brazing. I must say that brazing is not my strong suit! My idea originally was to make a long wheel base with chain driven rear wheels but now I'm not sure. I'm kind of just looking at it wondering 'what-if' Maybe also tying it in to my modern buggy build off project.

Yeah, I really like my new Logitech kb, nice buttons!

The tubes were bent with a tool I got at Princess Auto. I'll see if I can get a pic.

Small update. I worked a bit on the front setup. I was thinking originally to go 1/10 in scale but it looks like 1/16 is better. The front end on there now is from a Losi micro Baja. For reference I got a shot with some 2.2 RC4WD Formula Offroad paddle tires I just got. I'll use those on another project I guess.
