Which is faster..35A or 60A ESC

Post by joel45acp »

If you had a buggy with two different ESC, one a 35A and the other a 60A, which would provide the best performance given you keep the same batt., tires, gears, motor etc?

providing the mill pulls less than 35A at full rpm (which would be the case for most motors) they'd be exactly the same top speed all other things being equal.

Now if you're asking about acceleration, which is when more current is really needed, 35A is a rather "common" current to be drained from modern BL's. Chances are the 60A would get the car up to speed sooner.

If it's the ezrun you're looking at, the 35A/4300kv is perfect in a 2wd buggy for bashing, and better than many for club racing.
