well a dab of paint, lipstick, white out, or something similar right on the post works. also there is some funky jig that uses a very sharp stud attached to the post that will mar the paint. there are a few others out there but im drawing a... shoot whats the word for when you draw a... dang it

And Jay - you are right - the driver is by far the biggest difference......spend the money to have the best driver and you will have a great chance to win a title as a manufacturer these days.

If money is what makes a car win, then Tamiya and Kyosho who are both much larger than AE would own all the world titles! Oh wait!....They would have to make a good car first!

the other day i put together a runner, its a buggy with short front arms and a stealth tranny... What i found the most difficult was that there was a pin holding in the front shocks on the bottom. the pin is held in with a set screw and i could not get it out...

Tamiya's "world titles" are based on a car design that they didnt even do themselves.....so no argument from me on that one!
At least Kyosho do all their own stuff.
The number of world titles is an interesting debate to have, as if you took Masami's World titles out of the results - Associated would have a whole lot less of them!!

Nothing bothers Rod about building rides, I do it for him. So, the thing I hate the most for Rod is cleaning his pile of crap and rebuilding his damn shocks
+1 on the roll pins! I HATE them! Ruined 1 plier (the other tip broke), my 2nd one (cheapo Husky) can't pinch them enough! Countless nights waking my wife with that "click" whenever the plier slips. My nice Tamiya side cutter's blade now also ruined.
