My JRX-Pro with a close recreation of my old race body
Well thanks to Rick for the body and front tires, I was able to complete (well except for the tires getting cleaned up) my JRX-Pro. I'm most happy that I was able to pretty closely mimic the paint job I had on my original JRX2 back in the late 80's. I bought the JRX2 from a hobby shop owner who had it sent as a show car and it came in pre-painted.
The only thing it's missing is the big number 5 on the front and passenger window but thanks to AMB, we don't need to do that anymore LOL. The lines weren't great on the paint job, but I started with older masking tape and that didn't seal right. I switched over to 3M blue, but not before a little damage was done. Dot 4 brake fluid did a pretty good job though.
For running gear. I have a vintage (but great condition) Tekin esc, a 13x2 motor, 2S Lipo (with alarm) and a vintage airtronics servo I had laying around
I'm really happy with her. I feel some of my teenage years creeping back in when I look at her LOL.

That looks great! - I like the period colour scheme, they always look so fresh & distinctive compared to the overcomplicated (but technically amazing) designs people have on their modern rides these days.
Have you taken it for a spin yet? If so how does its go?
P.S; if its a runner, try & find yourself a gear cover before a peice of debris gets there & chews up you spur gear.... or worse still you chew up yours or someone elses hand on the spur during marshalling or radio glitch when you go to pick up the car.

I have a gear cover. I just have to trim it. I'm a big fan of covers, although when I was younger, I never used them.

Very nice!! Although it'd be prettier on a Losi with those spokes and that paint scheme.

Super paint scheme! Simple and period correct.
It looks like the car is going so fast that the paint is peeling off.
