SAN-S Tamiya RC-Buggy Collection 6th scale (Avante etc...)

Just found this nice collectible: it's a NIB Tamiya RC-Buggy Collection 1/6 scale, made by SAN-S some time ago. It's a set of five extremely detailed models in three versions of each, packed in a display box for model shops. 3 Avantes, 3 Buggy Champs, 3 Frogs, 3 Grasshoppers and 3 Hornets. All boxes look the same, even if there are different models in them. 6th scale of a 10th scale rc model means they are roughly the size of matchbox or hot wheels cars. Detail is amazing, very tiny sticker sets, battery compartmens, shocks, wheels with rubber tires and even hump style batteries !!!

I will post more pictures soon when i decided how to display them (deep picture frame or so...).

yes - this and the coffe ones, all nice reductions! They're 1/6th of 1/10th, so that makes them 1/60th! Tiny tiny I didn't know they were still available, I got mine when released... ultra-cool

they came out in convinience stores here, i have a few. there are also ones that came ontop of instant coffee cans here too. actually there have been several campaigns over the years

The "secret car"is listed somewhere on tamiyaclub. It's a different colored buggy champ with a white display baseplate. Considering all the miniatures out there, the SAN-S collection ist by far the most detailed and "premium" one available (see pics). I think they do not make them anymore, not sure about the timeframe they were produced, i readabout it on tamiyaclub but forgot it.
