Building a Works 91 or 93 from parts.. easy?

Post by Bimdapogs »

I have somehow collected odd parts to possibly put together either a Works 91 or 93 buggy. Thought I might as well use the parts than leave them collecting dust.. I still need a LOT to complete, but I figured by creating this thread I would be able to
1) see exactly how much more parts I need, maybe realize the fact that this is too expensive to accomplish;
2) learn along the way the specs of these buggies;
3) possibly get help with parts that I need. :mrgreen:

So far I need help with these:
a) anybody have a manual for either buggy?
b) did the 91 and 93 share the same universals? does anybody know the measurements so I can check if the ones I have will work? Part numbers would help too!
c) the specs of the wheel hubs would help too. i have some spares from the 94 and 870C dogs, but don't know which would work..

Thanks in advance for any input!
:P

870C front optional longer universal = Works '91/'93 F/R universal = '94 ~ '97 YZ10 rear universal drives.

there were a few wheel hubs with different offset. stock setup for Works was same thicknees for F/R both. but you can put slightly thicker ones on the front. actually you can use any wheel hubs from 870C through '97 YZ10 except for 870C front wheel hubs which are super thick

Guys, thanks for the help so far! I got a Works 93 chassis now (thanks Mini), so I'm going that route.

Question:
Will these work for a 93?
