Tires are made after many hrs going through everything i had.
A lot of cutting & gluing. My partner helped me as this was by far the hardest i came across to do.
Problem is the Fronts are quite wide with a 2.1" D/A. The back i stufft up a set as i made them too low in profile. We all were laughing at it. Small rear Big front's.
Will post pics soon on my thread.
Thanks Gary for trying for us but i had no luck even with other help from Marc ( Colecanth) on here.

Re: Hard Case Samurai Almost there!
I seem to have had a lot of distractions in the last few months including shoulder surgery, full size cars, swap meets and such that have kept me from my RC stuff, but I managed to squeeze in a few hours of work on this car off and on. I can finally see the finish line! Just a bit of connector work, wire routing, a driver and body and paint and I'll be able to call this one done. It actually turned out to not have too many original parts left as I amassed a small pile of spares and a really nice "parts car" to put this one together. I ended up getting a decent trans case and near flawless chassis from the second car plus a few bits and pieces. I sanded out most of the marks on the chassis bottom and polished it which greatly improved it's appearance. All in all there are parts from 3 separate cars as well as the rims and roof panel from Pargu. I actually have enough spares to build a reasonably nice 2nd car which I will be offering for sale in the BST at some point soon.
More pics to follow when finished.

Re: Hard Case Samurai
Thanks sir! This was a difficult build for me. Since I'd never put one together before I ended up going backwards at a few junctures. My diff case isn't perfect but it's way better than the one I started with. An NIP one along with a new bumper would be the holy grail for this car. I got a body cut and painted - went a little different way since all of them seem to be red. I'm not sure I'm thrilled with it but I'll work with it. I'll get some pics up today maybe. Still needs finishing touches. Oh, I hit the old tires with Mother's Back to Black and they look awesome!Mad Racer wrote:OOOhhhhh

As far as the bits go - you're already second in line - just guess who might be in front of you.
