Period motor for my Jrx-Pro?

Post by 8rad »

Hi Losi gurus,

I am nearing the end of my Jrx-Pro build and I am using a period correct red theme. I am going with Tekin electronics to match all the Jrx-Pro red bling but I am needing a period correct motor to match. I am thinking of the twister or a Dynamite TNT stock but I would like something with a little more ooomph. Does anyone know if the Twister was a modified or if there are any other period correct modifieds(other than maybe speed gems Ruby) that would work well?

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Yeah, twister was the first company to use/market the wet magnet technology...so definately the correct time frame. You can also look for the red can Revtech motors. There was a NIP one on the bay a few months ago.

The other options would be a lemans 240st or even a jr's choce.

I got this for a song.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&rt=nc&nma=true&item=370516043039&si=3N6KVNqxlMEoMXaiNS8wNLUhrQk%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AEOIBSA%3AUS%3A1123

Its got the red I was looking for and I can add some yellow to the paint job to pull it all together. Gonna be ACE! I just hope the motors got some laps left on it.
