Fantastic shape in fact! I used to love my Cat 2000, it was a great car all those years ago. Although the EC was even better. I am sure I tried the two different layouts of the shocks at the same meeting, and the laydown style was about 1 sec a lap faster!DerbyDan wrote:That side profile of the original CAT2000 looks damn hot!!

It's one of my favourite buggies. Apparently handled pretty well too. I've never raced mine but I know a Schumacher Team driver who decided to get back into off-road after doing touring cars for years and he got Schumacher to send him a kit of spares from the factory to build a CAT2000 ...and this was in 2005/6!! The CAT 3000 was then the current car but he swore the original 2000 was still the best handling Schuie buggy so far
