Been MIA for a little...

Post by Der Kommissar »

Had some other things going on for the past few months. One major thing is that we are almost finished a 36x44 pole building at my Dad's place. The floor is getting epoxied this week and then it's open season. He is building a 32 Ford 5 window coupe and I am working on an VW Empi Imp dune buggy. Taking a break from the draining expenses of drag racing and building something fun for a change.
I just picked up a Championship Edition gold pan. IT's complete but needs the usual going through. I hope to get to it in the next few weeks. The projects are lining up around here...
If it isn't broke, I haven't driven it yet.

Nice choice on the 32 Ford 5 window coupe. Too bad you didn't come back sooner as I just finished selling a ton of parts my father saved from when he built one in the 70's.

Thanks!

We actually have two or three of everything to build this car stock. It was originally my Grandfathers car who had it since 1966. Dad bought it and all the parts from my Grandmom. I am more into traditional hot rods and my Dad likes the full fendered full body style. SO, I said don't leave the car to me because I won't hesitate to chop it up....

I know what you mean! When it comes to cars my father and I have two different ideas about everything it seems like. He likes things stock or mildly modified and I'm Mr. all out race even if the car is never going to see one. The problem with that is its like an episode of American Chopper after five minutes of being in the garage together. The only thing thats missing is a camera crew.
