It was really kind of weird though, it wasn't a drastic hit, just popped off. Of course it was asphalt, speed bump, and a little curb all at the same time
Rest of the truck sustained no damage though, so that's a good thing.
I am thinking I want to go the kyosho cvd route with a different style of wheels.
And in the meantime... I'll stick to the dirt.

Re: New here, My YZ-10, Broken Truck Wheel
Done a little more work on the truck...
Made a bumper out of aluminum since the plastic one was shot, almost looks identical.
Replaced some of the stock screws with allen cap head screws
Got new belts from eBay, straight from Korea but had to search for 870c not yz10.
Cleaned the RC10 shocks and put new oil in them only to have the caps leak all over the place and attract dirt. So I removed the stock plastic washer things and used some plumbers thread seal tape and it worked like a charm.
Fixed my old Novak 610RV ESC since I burned out a few the Mosfets. I managed to track down some replacements so I now have reverse again.
Have ordered the Corona 2.4Ghz DIY Module & RX for my old Futaba Magnum Jr from Hobby King (horrendous shipping time but good prices) look forward to trying this one.
Started my effort in getting Kyosho CVDs...

inspired this decision, along with a lack of JG truck rims. Have enough rims for now but don't want to keep having to find more, plus I just don't like the yz hub design all that much.
So...
I purchased some Kyosho UM510 CVDs which are 62.5 mm and for my version of the YZ they are way too short.
When installed they don't even reach the diff except in maxx compression of the suspension then they just kiss the diff.
So I pulled out all my drive shafts to measure them and they are all identical, each one from joint to the end of bone is 68mm.
Front and Rears, which is different from the thread I linked above. Guess i should of measured them first lol
Guess I have first hand experience now with my car being different from other yz's just like I have read in many other posts.
Looks like I'm going to have to go with LA231 shafts which are 68mm
Hopefully they will fit correctly

My YZ-10, Broken Truck Wheel, Now Runner
Well, I have been away for a while and had to take a break from my plans with the truck. Hopefully will be able to get back to it soon. I did however get a chance to run in this last weekend with some stampedes. I'll have to say that even though the stampedes can jump way farther, the yz10 did it way smoother. Of course the stampedes had brushless motors so its kind of an unfair advantage.
No problems with the wheels this time and other than a few gravel rocks getting stuck inside it was a great run.
I managed to capture the YZ jumping and thought I'd share with y'all
