It is time to give up the secrets man......... :D

Very nice car, will fit right in with your collection.
 no real secret lol, just throw enough money around and the parts find you  j/k actually all the parts sourced were people offering on here and a few eBay auctions that went kinda cheap, but either way im out of money now and need to get my 1:1 fixed lol.
mrlexan wrote:Are the front tires narrow or the same width as the rear? Something else I have not been able to find, narrow fronts.
The wheels on the front of my PR are actually narrow one-way wheels (Thats why the tires look a little funny), i have seen some PR's with rear wheels all the way around running wide tires on all corners. Talking with Jason, the narrow tires are very hard to come by, coming from him i believe it, I got the only set that i know of that he had and they had light use (they are in transit lol)

That's right William. In a recent job lot I must have netted around 60 odd pairs of the rear PR tyres and around 40 pairs of the rear Boost tyres. Not one pair of medium width fronts among the lot of them.

DOH!

I have a friend who raced one of these back in the day. He used a trinity optima mid chassis for the undertray before they started making them.

Ok made a little more progress,

New additions:
Repro Boost Body (TY MrLexan)
Original Front and Rear Tires (I have only seen one set of the narrow fronts, this set has very light use)

Still to complete:
I have a new set of front narrow wheels in route
I need to source a wing wire and buttons (Might use AE alloy wing buttons)
Source some front steering links
Source some rear body mounts

And its complete 8) well unless i decide to paint it in the future, I like seeing the design and engineering that went into vintage RC cars. I estimate about 90% of the car is built from new parts now lol. It went from being a 55 buck ebay score to a few hundred dollar project lol.

I have never seen a motor with a ceramic shaft, that is cool!

Nice turnout on the car, extremely clean. Just like all your other builds, Thats some very nice work you do.

Thanks,

To my knowledge RacePrep is the only company to make motors like this, They had issues with the shaft breaking lol.
