No it is a different system and manufacturer. There is some info in the Scans section, I'll see if I can find it.

there are pictures of cars in the RC10 section using the Hyperdrive system just have to search for Hyperdrive in the section.

Here's a picture of someone's car I found in the RC10 section with the Hyperdrive belt system - note I believe that the motor has to turn in reverse rotation for this application.

That is very cool. I love all the little companies back then that were always trying to innovate or at the very least come out with something unique.

I believe hyperdrive is still around. They concentrated on their main products later on: pan cars and the accesories that go with those.

I have some old magazines with the HD ads when they were first coming out, and it shows an orange belt like the one shown above.
