Judging by that poster in the background of bearrickster's wall, he might prefer an AMX body to the Javelin. I could swear that's an AMX...

Yes it is but its not a poster, its a hand signed limited print I paid as lot of money for that from the artest, its beautiful. I love all , muscle cars I have had 1:1 Camaros's Roadrunners, Torino's, I have two Torino Cobras right now a 1970, 1971.

The cars SHOULD be slow—that was the whole point to it. The rules now are 2S lipo on a 25.5 brushless which is where stock class racing was 20 years ago.

I just finished watching some races on Youtube and I much preferred the ones where the cars went slower. It was a lot more enjoyable than seeing cars taking off at a hundred miles an hour crashing their way around the track.

Nice, I love the early Torinos...my cousin had a 1972 Torino, 351 Cleveland, fastback...loved the hoodscoop! Come to think of it, old pre-Starsky & Hutch Torinos are the only Ford muscle cars I like. I hated the far more popular 'Stangs & Cougars!

thanks mine is all apart waiting on its turn in the shop. I am finishing up a few other cars for people then its on to my 71 Torino Cobra. I am selling the 70. the one I am keeping is a 351 Cleveland 4V with a Shaker C6 3:55 Traction lock 9",Rear window slats, Red with Black Bench interior so my Baby can slide over next to me. here is what it is going to look like when I am done

Sweet! '70 is probably my favorite year for the Torino Cobra--429 CJ--drool! In fact, '70 was my favorite year for a lot of muscle cars....1970 Barracuda & Challenger were IMO the best years for those cars, and although many will disagree, that was also the best-lookin' year for the Charger. That's what I'm working on.



Last summer I gutted the interior & began grinding away all the rust, and have a few floor pans to be welded in. This spring, hopefully (money permitting) the floor pans will get welded in, and I will do the rest--POR-15 to prep for eDead insulation & new carpets, restored panels, and re-upholstered seats...that last part is gonna hurt the wallet and I don't know enough to try it myself.

Speaking of which...HPI's Vintage Series '70 Cuda body is beautiful! But, I made the mistake of buying the one that goes on the truggy chassis, and man, is that thing fugged up!!! The wheelbase is all wrong, the wheel-wells are WAYYYYY too big, and those Corvette-style side-pipes look absolutely ridiculous. The same goes for their fugly "monster truck" Charger body.

I wish HPI would've made a '69 or '70 Charger body in their Vintage Series...

I always loved the 68-70 Chargers my uncle had a 440 4sp se that green color. it was a lot of fun to ride in. he wasnt a fraid to flogg it out some.

well she's already to race I bought a new radio for it. I had to put stickers to hide my shame of putting a ASC Radio in my Losi their are Team Losi stickers all over the ASC ones but that pic disapeared? will fix it tomorrow

I just changed the belt for the first time. Losi sure didn't engineer this as a user friendly job. you have to almost rebuild the car from start. I removed everything but the shock towers.
I was in a hobby shop this weekend and scored a nip Graphite chassis for this car in the discount bin.
