What tires did Jay Halsey use on the back of his #6 RC10?
What tires did Jay Halsey use on the back of his #6 RC10?
Ok have a set of proline 100-F as used by Jay Halsey on front of his #6 RC10, but they have some tires that I can seem to find what they are?
Looks like the tires could be the front version of whatever he used on the back?
I do know he used some Tamiya ones with writing on, but were the others with out writing? proline... somethings?

Anyone know?
Thanks

No I dont think there Tamiya as the Tamiya stuff has writing on the sidewalls. And there are plenty of pics of tyres with out writing?

In fact according to the pro-line site,
"Jay Halsey, our first World Champion back in 1985. Jay won the 2WD class in this IFMAR World Championship in Pomona, California on Pro-Line’s 109-R Champions 1.5” rear tires (part #1010). Pro-Line’s first World Championship...."
Also prp's pics of his build here, http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=186&start=165
???
Thanks

On mine I put AJ'S 9719 replica holiday buggy.
Like on the pic on the first post.
For PROLINE , I don't know if they make the same profil.

Re: What tires did Jay Halsey use on the back of his #6 RC10
Jay actually told me that he used both the Holiday Buggy Tire and the Parma replica during that 1985 World Championship race since it was 3 A-Mains plus the qualifying. He also said that those were the two tires he used the most on his RC10 back in that timeframe.
On my replica I have both the AJ's and the Holiday Buggy on wheels for it. I personally prefer to view my car with the Holiday Buggy tire as it was the one I personally used the most back in 1985-86 timeframe since the tire had great traction qualities!
I went thru many sets of Holiday Buggy Tires during my early racing days.
