Picked up a couple of 1/8th scale bodies

Gene Husting described the last 2 bodies on the right side as Trans Am bodies but the Torino isn't and he didn't identify either of these by name. The Ti22 was known as the Autocoast Ti22 and was driven by Jackie Oliver in the 1970 Can Am season. May have been the predecessor of the UOP Shadow cars of later years.

Yeah, but Sam Posey riveted a single piece of aluminum over both headlights on his Challenger.

The blue and white car first struck me as a Ferrari but I don't know.

Al, did some digging. Per my ancient Delta catalog from 79, part numbers are as follows. I don't know if Delta and Associated carried the same part numbers or not. It is interesting, BITD, Delta listed Dynamic, Associated, and Heathkit parts in their catalog (sign that it was about the hobby and not the biz/$).

I've got that book, definitely one to have if you're into the early days of RC cars. The other one to find is "Auto Racing R/C Micro Style" by Ross R. Olney, 1980... some nice early 1/12th stuff as well as the classic 1/8th scalers.

Picked these two 1/8 scale bodies today..the Parma is a Lola T-530 from 1980 is it rare the Ferrari I'm not sure about...

Nice catch there, the Lola is a nice looking body, I really like the Ferrari it is an early Associated body. Not a bad paint job, can't tell what the condition is but either way it's a good grab.

Cool thanks..the Ferrari only has a small split in the back..nothing too major..I don't have a 1/8 road car but the offer was too good to turn down..

THATS my car!! Porsche... I have been looking for that body for 6 years. Thats the one I raced from 90-91 under sponsorship from my Dad's company... I couldnt remember that it was PARMA. I got them from the Ranch Pit Shop in Pomona.
