People now have this strange notion that a actual facility can't be a good business- it takes a different approach and direct "selling" instead of a checkout clerk- but it can still be a great business!

So they are further out from where they were before... dependent on where you live (or lived). I liked Mound Rd as they traffic never seemed to be too bad (or better than M53)
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

You know its bad when everyone that works there knows you by first name  Jay its a little closer to the east side, not far from the last move when they where on Utica rd.Whats nice is now there lots of room for parking,Its defiantly a first class hobby shop and 90% of the time his prices are as good if not better then tower. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to stop buy and check it out,it defiantly worth the trip.

Did Joe's in Farmington finally close it's doors? I wish I could have visited one of the old Joe's stores BITD..... but that was before I lived there. What's left up there, other than Rider's and even they closed half their stores in the Metro area?

Joe's is gone . Riders in taylor is gone but reopened under a new owner. They mostly cater to the rc plane crowd. Nankin hardware is still going with there rc shop . The prop shop I think is still open . Not much left in the downriver area.
