championship pb alpa 82

hey guys a freind of mine needs some help. I think i no what car it is just wanna know what year it was made an is it still being mde or discountied any help would b great as my freind is not sure he wants to restore or scrap it if hes gonna scrap it i might try to get it from him just wnt some moreinfo b4 i do thanks guys

it seems to be a PB nova ( 1984 / 1985 )

the main difference between the Alpha and Nova are
- the chassis ( shape as a box on nova )
-the front bulkhead ( with world champion logo molded in the front bulkhead )
-the color ( black instead of red)
-new rear mono shock absorber

well i found the instruction mnual for the alpha 82 an everything in there looks just like the car in the pics but thanks for answering ill check into it some more
