JRX2

Post by Synergy »

Why did no one else jump one this then :?: , I know it's going to take a bit of cleaning and a body's going to be hard to find but a complete looking JRX2 for under $60 is that not a bit of a deal :?:

This is the only version I'd ever own. I love that trailing H arm suspension. Good deal.

I saw that one too, but it's really too smashed and hacked, parts are not original (wheels, battery holder, shock collars...), good for a runner, but impossible to make a shelfer out of it :?

It's the only Losi I wanted to, in fact it's the only car I did not own from my must have list so I guess I can stop collecting now

It's got the 5-link, not the H-arms.

Man, you guys are pick-ey. For $57 that's a pretty nice car.

I'm loading my potato gun!

The 5 link set up was the way the Jrx2 came out of the box, as pictured in that auction. Then, the H-arm conversion was available. The arms were in the shape of an H, but were basically the same thing as regular old arms, or A-arms.

And for what it's worth, the H-arm conversion was out before any of the later release cars, so MANY people ran the H-arms on the original JRX2.

I switched to the h-arms on my original jrx-2 early on mostly because the special lower rear shock mounts for the 5-link were rather weak, and the h-arm setup used a standard shock end instead.
The arms ended up being h-shaped so that you could use the wide hub carriers from the 5-link suspension. eventually they came out with the smaller more normal looking hub carriers, but did not change to a-shaped arms.
