so i found something very similar hi tec sp 520 but it looks like aristo craft seems to be an obscure rc car company a search brought up a bunch of different products tx, rx, esc, msc ?

Yeah, this looks very much like a Hi-Tec speedo - I had one in my Optima Mid Custom - my first ever electronic speedo!

i have one of those also...I cant get it to work, but it clicks a lot...LOL

i think aristo craft became hitec?

yes....aristocraft was/is Hitec, though I don't know how much of the aristocraft legacy is still left.

I always assumed Aristo-Craft was the parent company of Hitec. Now Hitec is technically called "Hitec RCD." I don't know what ever became of Aristo-Craft.

Theres a model train company called Aristo-Craft but I don't think they have any relation.

from what i could find out on the net i think the aristo craft company made electronics and equipment for who ever i think the model train aristo craft is the same company i have a vauge memory of it the more i dig , i had a large o.o gauge set up

I had a similar unit back in the early 90's. It had a lexan case and was quite small for its time. Was good enough to race with but was a little rough on set up.
