rc10 turn buckles? shocks?

Post by dhonda200 »

i was wondering if anyone knew what size turn buckles to get for the rc10 gold pan buggy that has rpm arms. i want to get associated titanium sence there blue but idk what lengths. Also what length shocks do i get? My car has carbon fiber shock towers that r made to fit longer shocks i beleive. DO i get .89 shocks on front and 1.32 on back?

Thanks, Derek

pics of the car would help since no one has an idea what shock towers you have on the car. just saying they're carbon fiber doesn't help. the rears should 1.32 no matter what, but too many variables for the front. same with the tie rods.

im sory i cant get you pics of the car together sence i just started building it and its all torn apart but i can tell you that the arms are the only aftermarket parts ive aded that will change the turn buckle length now the reason y i dont know what length trun buckles is because i dont have the stock ones. the front shock tower is basicly the same as stock the diference is the guy raised the tower a litle so that you can run the original short shocks or the newer style. hope theese pics help some.

you can use .71 or .89 shocks on the front with that tower. 1.32 on the back.

ae tierods:

2.06
1.65
1.375
1.00

don't blame me if they're too long/short when you put them on you car though. i have no idea where your ballstud locations are gonna be, what ball cups you're gonna use, what rear hub carriers you have, rear bulkhead, etc. tie rods are the last thing i worry about when building a car. i'll use threaded rod or old turnbuckles, along with the ball cups i plan to use (as those vary in length) to mock up the car. then measure, and buy the correct lengths i need.
