The drilled chassis thing drives me nuts. How much weight did people think that they saved drilling that out? I saw a gold chassis on eBay the other day with a hole the size of a silver dollar in it, so I guess it could be worse!

Ya and what the heck was with everyone back then drilling the hole on the side to access the servo screw. 90% of the chassis I have someone did this to:(

HI!... I guess I've been lucky then. I have 7 chassis's and only one has holes drilled in it.

Back when it didn't matter and they were everywhere we used to drill them to mount switches, or to hang the wire connectors out the side. Some added nerf bars that were actually made my CRP and others to mount to the chassis.
Req'd drilling.


No different then someone peeling the birds off their Trans Am hoods in 1977 or so....Who knew or thought of the future then....Or who does now.

Have you made it to larrys new store?I work in warren and live not fare from port huron.

I work close to nineteen and mound . Stop in at larrys from time to time and watch the racing. The last time I ran a car at larry's is when they were at 12 and mound with a RS4 pro II .
