this optional chassis for the type-J pro which only allows using stick pack batteries ........ you also need to buy the special upper deck which is V-shaped.......& the centre shaft should be lifted up for the battery to pass underneath........:)

The higher centershaft in the blue alloy motermount also makes you need a different length rear belt. I bought a used one (not this narrow chassis) and found out it is almost completley incompatible with my earlier YR-4s. It didn't have a rearbelt and  none of my spares fitted

I bought two YR4-M2 Pros...one was a runner and the other was a new car minus the motor mount... I tried to put my yokomo zd304 and my ZD304S mounts in it and I cant find a belt that is short enough for the front even with the stick pack tensioner pulley installed...This chassis seems to be a little shorter than the earlier YR4's...it seems to only work with the stick motor mount. Was looking to put my 91/93 works suspension on the chassis that came without the mount but it's a no go if i cant get a front belt to work on it.

hello justice,I have many YR-4 parts.I almost not identity them.but I know you talking about the front belt.Yes I noticed the short belt,I have a belt marked ZR-468, only 156T, and ZR-477 is 159T.I put it on the short wheel base car with tensioner pulley perfectly fit,or only use adjustable front bulkhead without tensioner pulley.I think you need to find the belt ZR-468
