It looks like just the charger is solar powered?

I think it would be cool to run a Tamiya Solar Eagle. Too bad the weather is crappy here around eight months out of the year.
At least it would go nowhere fast.

The car has a nimh charged solar or AAAs, the wheel is indeed a solar powered auto turntable for anything, soon as light hits it's off, and the handset unclips and has 2 watch cells, left right forwards reverse and TURBO!
