I am SOOOOOO hooked again!!!
Well, i ordered some parts to redo my 10T the other day. Today, after a good almost 10 year break from this stuff, I was finally able to get some time to go try my new Rustler out. Man, I forgot how much fun it is. I was only bashing around (which is in all honesty mostly what i'll do) but it is such a blast. And i cant believe how fast out of the box the Rustler is. I am definatly going to have to make the 10T just a bit faster, as we cant have a slow AE vehicle around this site.
You guys with brushless stuff are either insane or have really big spaces to run in. This brushed truck is plenty fast for my area I am in.

I don't mind being behind the modern times, at least we had common sense back then.

I just put two HPI Saturn 550 12T in my Kyosho twin force $15 each, and they are faster than the Kyosho X speed that were in there, bang for buck is amazing.

I like my Tacon 4420kv brushless motor for $24 at Hobbypartz.com.
Talk about some mega bang for the buck.
My RC10T has never been this fast before.

Re: I am SOOOOOO hooked again!!!
Well, i realized two thing thinking about this afterwrds.
One: I am running a 7 cell pack
Two: I was running my old Bolink Spec Legends motor in my RC10T.
That accounts for quite a difference compared to what the Rustler has---which explains why it currenty is so much faster than my old 10T. I wonder how much a stock Stealth tranny will take.........Anything out there to hop up the trans on my 10T?

Re: I am SOOOOOO hooked again!!!
The old stock Stealth can handle quite a bit of power.
I've run a brushless 5700kv motor on 2s lipo in my 10T with no problems.
I run a RPM 2.65 conversion on my 10T now and 4420KV motor on 2s Li-Po.
I use a T3 slipper with my RPM 2.65, but with the stock Stealth you can use the B4/T4 topshaft and slipper.
