What's the size of the bearing used in the centre of the Bosscat rear super-diff i.e. between the alloy diff halves? Thanks

I got some by chance off eBay

It's 3/8 x 1/4 x 1/8

Just received these in the post from america,

they are a direct replacement fro schumachers U762J works flanged bearing, which is now discontinued. Made by OFNA rc they are exactly the same and fit in the special works hubs

thought it might of...

They look ok to, but would be worried as the flanged bit looks to big also the size should be 8mm x 12mm x 4mm these are 3.5, so they might not fit. But nice to know options are out there :D

I haven't rebuilt a 6-gear in three decades, so while going through my old one by the book I noticed the manual does not call for any lubrication on the diff thrust bearing or washers. Is that correct?? Surely it's an omission from the manual...I've...

I've found that the original manual is much better in telling you how to get the diff set up properly. I followed the original manual and my diff performs much better

So I've got an RC10GT with a stock ball diff. For some reason I've had bad luck with this diff over the years. It seems to slip under brushless power, and when I tighten it down to the point of not slipping, it gets crunchy fast and breaks the diff...

Is there some trick to get the diff gear off the diff tube. I have a bushing in there I'd like to replace with a bearing, but I can't seem to get the thing apart. Anyone have suggestions?

get a big pair of wire cutters, the cutting jaws are angled, so you put the jaws open end facing the gear and a little squeeze and the gear pops right off. I know this is an old thread. But still a good tip.
