Peroxide problem
I've been gathering RPM parts for a while now. I have a used 91 worlds front end kit and cleaned it up with super clean and everything was great. I took a yellowed 10t front bulkhead and did the peroxide bath and all went well. I tend to get sidetracked on alot of projects, so i usually bag parts up in small bags to keep things orginized. I put the RPM arms in a bag with the front bulkhead that was soaked in peroxide and was stored like that for about 2 weeks. I went tonight to get them out and i noticed the arms turned a greenish color
. Is there anything that can be done to restore the original color?

If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

Re: Peroxide problem
as a test, i put a used white rpm front bumper in the peroxide with all of my associated white parts. it didn't take long for it to turn a pretty shade of pickle juice. i've had it just sitting around for the last couple weeks, and the green shade is pretty much gone now.
so more or less, just let them sit around in the air for awhile and see what happens.........

Re: Peroxide problem
Stay away from peroxide with all RPM parts, and heavy detergents as well- you can boil the RPM parts out in distilled water for a decent result-
Re: Peroxide problem
What does the distilled water do? Does the lack of minerals and boiling help them come back somewhat. Almost like a cleansing?
