I bought this buggy about 4 years back and had almost forgotten about it. Correct me if i'm wrong but I think it uses stampede running gear. can someone confirm this. Eventually I would like to replace all the plastic with aluminum parts. Here it is, comments welcome
That looks AWESOME! What would really be cool is... working lights! Not LEDs, but actual incandescent bulbs old school style Very nice buggy you have there.
I actually just ran across a TC3 that I bought a year ago(sorta NIB) that was never assembled so I can kinda understand forgetting a car, but I wouldn’t forget this! That thing is a Cream Dream! If comments are truly welcome I would go black or silver with the shocks along with the aluminum parts. You can prolly get them for what you sell those purple ones for. I would re-route the wiring so it’s not so obtrusive. Other than that my only observation is the curious choice of a Tamiya plug. Might have come with the rig for all I know. That is truly a unique and awesome ride though!

Today I got a chance to fart around with this buggy. I switched the back shocks with the fronts to give it more travel up front. The main thing is I took Sofaking's idea of using extra spacers and used a set of Lohas wheels the sand tires on this buggy.
That's an absolutely beautiful car! I particularly like the flames, only because the flame proportions are more correct-to-scale--unlike the garish & oversized, exaggerated, shaded, conflicting-colored flame-jobs you see on so many RC bodies nowadays.
