Need a huge favor (measurement)

Can someone measure the distance from the front plate (where the braces attach) to the hole in the main chassis (where the brace attaches to on the goldpan? I'm on reserve duty, and only brought the chassis with me, and need the measurement to drill and tap. Please refer to picture.
