Re: Stealth...new vs. old??
there are some parts from the newer trans that'll work in the original. mainly the b4/t4 topshaft and slipper setup, and the diff bolt, t-nut, diff spring, thrust balls and washers. but that's about it.

does anyone know if this SC10 Diff Kit will work in the RC10 Stealth carrier? IDK, I would guess not, but thought this was the right thread to ask.

Re: Stealth...new vs. old??
here is some stealth info:
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=11051
additionally, the idler gear on the 2.40 trans-and-up has the bearings in the idler gear, not the trans case.
you can't put the guts of one ratio into another ratio's case, other than the top shafts, which uses the same size gear, ie, the diff and idler have to match the trans case.

Re: Stealth...new vs. old??
Except for the topshaft and some diff internal parts, they don't share any parts, but the designs are so similar you could probably build one using a manual from another version.
