A very nice job of resurrecting this car Rich! I stopped in at a few thrift stores down here in my area today and couldn't even find cheap "toys 'r' us/radio shack" type cars, let alone hobby shop quality ones.... :( Nice find indeed!!

Are there nice Hobby Shops in Temecula? Have you been over to Hobby Central in SD? They still have some old crap still hidden away.

I didn't know of Hobby Central. I used to race at a shop with an outdoor offroad track in SD in the mid 90's off the 52 fwy. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. They have since moved down Convoy St. a little ways and longer do the offroad stuff....

Today I just browsed through shrift shops in Escondido because my parents live down there and thats all that was close. As far as Temecula goes, we only have a Hobby Town and a Hobby People. Same for the Escondido area actually. For non-franchise hobby shops I usually go to Pegasus since it's close to my brothers house in San Dimas.... :D

No, I will not help you with your dorky short course truck…sorry, it’s against my religion. If it's not a 1/10 scale buggy...I don't care.
