2.25 RC 10 Dirt Tracker

Post by Sharkman »

Fellas,I know there's a few that can appreciate North east Dirt Mod racing,so here's the latest from my shop. The whole back half is 2.25 RC 10, with an LTO chassis, and all aluminum front-end from Kranzels RC in PA. Kit car is called Terminator.Still waitin on #'s and a few decals, but she's ready for some short-trackin' this weekend.Enjoy 8)

sweet ride!!! On the Kranzel's chassis, is there kick up for the nose, or is that built into the aluminum bulkhead? lets see some body off detail shots!!!

pbr - it's a seperate nose plate. just like a tub rc10. they have a 20 degree and a 40 degree nose plate. sharkman's has the 20. here's a pic of mine with the 40 for comparison.

if you are going to run that on a short track i strongly suggest you set it up as a mid motor like the way doug's is, it will really help it to turn.i race on a track that has a 125 foot drive line and every car there runs mid motor, rear motor will not hook up on our track.

WB,Today is shakedown time.Granted there are some mid motor cars at Extreme, but most are rear motor cars.Gonna go out and see if I can get ahold of the track 1st.Changing the rear to mid will be an option surely.I'll keep you's posted. My practice packs are 2400's if that tells you anything

hey man dont knock thoes 2400's, a year ago i was still using my old 2400's in my losi edm aginst 3300's and 3800's and still was competitive. i didnt have enough batteries to run 2 classes and some guys were shocked when they found out i was still running them. here is a tip that may help what i would do is change gear between the different packs. example when running 48 pitch gears i would take 1 tooth off the pinion gear for the capacity of the pack. i ran a 90 spur and a 24 pinion for 3800's a 90 spur and a 23 pinion for 3300's and a 90 spur and a 22 pinion for 2400's.i still do this when running different batteries between pratice, heats, and features.

The day at extreme went well. The rear motor car worked really good, once I figured out how the car wanted to be driven.I really haven't had much wheel time in a few seasons.Like ridin a bicycle,it all started to come back.I never even charged a 4200 yesterday. When the guys found out I used the 2400's
eyebrows went up,funny. On this track, the car liked to be driven into the corners HARD,a super quick off/on throttle and she drove out really good.Had a real blast. Back to the bench to get ready for next weekend.A good cleaning, and a right front, and left rear spring change, she should be "ON" 8)
