B2 vs B3 bodies

Post by jwscab »

does anyone know how different the b2 body is to the b3 body, ie, could you use a b3 body on a b2?

I have a B2, that i would like to get a new body for (eventually), and I see that the B3 body is still available in a few places.....I would guess they are very close, just subtley different.

They are interchangeable, the B2 body is also called "RCPS Turbo Mirage II" and is a slammed version of the Turbo Mirage with very similar features including the "dished" hood. The B3 body is a
plainer and less detailed version, without the cool features.

I have a NIP RCPS Turbo Mirage II, or the B2 Stealth body  that will be going to Jay for re-release whenever he says he's ready

this one in tower looks an awful lot like the B2, moreso than the B3 body you have included. it's the 6142. Is this a case where tower has the wrong picture?

I think Reggie's B3 pic is of a factory team version which used the Proline "Deja Vu" body instead of the standard B3 body.

The 6142 body does look very similar to the B2 stealth/Mirage II body, the scoop is a little different, and the top veiw profile of the sides are a little different. same window profiles, same dished roof, nose, etc.
