The new BoLink isn' t the same company it was years ago. They went out of business or just closed up (depending upon who you talk to) after the owner decided to retire. I'm no expert on this by any means. I used to paint NASCAR bodies for Bob Rule BITD before company's came out with sponsorship graphics.

I heard that they had sold their molds to someone but a few have shown up on eBay (Mrlexan, I'm sure you know a whole lot more about this than I do.)

Bob Rule retired some years back and left the business to his son Steve. I want to say he lives in Oregon now (from memory). You can probably google his name and yo-yos to find out what he is doing these days. Yes, his other passion was yo-yos. Steve was no Donald Trump and I have heard 1st hand stories of some of what he did as a business man(I won't repeat them..it's not for me to do so). I am not sure how many years Steve was in charge, but the company went under during his watch. Again I don't know the year and how long stuff sat around. He had all that was left in a couple storage units and started to piece meal the stuff out on ebay. Shortly there after the bulk of the molds went to WindTunnel, myself and the folks that bought the Bolink name. My info is first hand and from a reliable source of which I have no reason to question.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'm glad to know all of that. I used to race at the BoLink facility many years ago. They had a dirt oval behind the place and held races on Friday nights.
Mostly they ran classes which highlighted their oval cars. I ran my Optima (configured in a very strange way) in the "outlaw class." It was more like a demolition
derby since the class was populated by 3 fast 4WD cars and a lot of (mostly new) Tamiya cars.

Do you have the Oldsmobile Aerotech mold? Forgive me for going off topic.

Okay, I've been to this site before. Didn't they have the AE Elfin and a Greenwood Corvette? Because all they have now are 3 bodies.
McLaren M8, Chaparral 2G and Porsche 917.

Yes they did, the McLaren mk8f is new and seems to have displaced the other missing bodies. That McLaren body is awesome by the way.
