I have a new built works which has taken me the best part of 2 years to put together from new spares. These cars are ace!

I agree. I'm trying to curb my spending on Schumacher Cars....but deals like this just make that so hard to do
Upon initial inspection everything seems to be OK. The front one ways have been removed but were included. The left rear hinge pin was bent so the suspension was binding real bad. But I think I have a spare. I will also need new under tray, belt covers and a rear wing. The alloy rollers are gone too but I think the plastic ones are better for running(less maintenance and easier to replace if they break). I just cannot decide which chassis to use. The USA one puts the batteries closer to center but the one that is on it has more options for battery placement(fore and aft) and mounting electronics. Any thoughts?
I used to have the USA chassis and while it mounts the batteries closer inboard it also pushes them slightly further forward. This usualy means for less grip in the rear and more steering. The original chassis is more to my liking.
Here are some pics of my Bosscat works rebuild. After stripping the car down to the screws my suspicions were confirmed. This car needed very little to get it back to racing shape. A new front bulkhead, left rear hinge pin, steering turnbuckles, wing mounts, wing, undertray and belt covers. Fortunately, most of these are still available from Schumacher. The wing is not period correct but for a runner I dont really care. I also mounted a R603FF reciever in a rather clever location.
Left to do is the steering, undertray, shocks, wheels and electronics.
Thanks. The quality is over all pretty good. The lexan thickness is a little uneven in spots but I am happy. Be careful if using a brushless setup. I had some clearance issues with the motor tabs scratching the inside of the body. The Bosscat body just sits too darn low.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't 'into' xmas. Like a child I still like all things xmas and with two sons I plan to make each year better than the last.
I have seen a few xmas train layouts on the net and while mine isn't any where near as awesome...

Very cool! 8) I constantly try to delight my 6 year old daughter in little ways year round. They don't forget things like this and they become great life long memories!(not to get all sentimental or anything  )
Many years ago I started a tradition at Clodtalk where I would write a Christmas story that involved the member of our beloved site. I put forth the idea here to our sister site in hopes that a similar love and camaraderie exists here (I know it...

See what a little creative weed will do for your brain!
It must just be residual from 14-15 years ago! Although last night would have been a good night for part 2. My boss has a killer Christmas party every year and I NEVER drink hard...
Over here in Australia we never get to have a white xmas.
I have always wondered what it would be like to enjoy the traditional white xmas over in the USA.
What areas do you recommend for a great xmas experience.

Maybe I need to do a house swap with someone over there. That way a Canadian/American family could see what it's like to have a summer Xmas in Australia. It's certainly not all bad, I even have a good r/c collection to peruse through too ;-)
I am looking forward to a new digital camera like the GoPro!

Hakko 888 soldering iron. In the past I've only used cheap irons and the results were not so good. For years now I've been relying on other people soldering my stuff for me. I'm hoping the hakko will turn me into a soldering pro.
Got this for Xmas this year! Finally replaced my wore out Slash. I run it in the Mod SC class. Novak GTB w/10.5, Nomadio radio, Futaba Digital BL servo, Proline M3 Bowties. Ran it with 3 SC10's Saturday. Qualified 3rd, finished 2nd in the main....
