RPM rear arm carriers bearing & stealth tranny case question

Post by burnsmonkey »

So I have a set of rear rpm carriers for RC10T/GT and im gonna get the bearings but AvidRC gives me 2 options, 3/16x1/2 metal and 3/16x1/2 revolution which are better?

And I have an original white stealth tranny and dont want to dye it black, can I buy an empty black stealth casing and have it converte with no problems and what tranny case?

Thanks

the revolution bearings have a rubber sheild on one side and a metal sheild on the other (if i remember correctly). if you don't want to do maintenance to the bearings, get the revolutions.

stock 2.25 associated white and black stealth cases are the same.

Yeah, what he said. Or you can get the RPM tranny conversion kit and dye that case, and get better performance too.

Thats correct... I just bought $40 worth. The rubber side goes towards the elements.
