K.D.Lang sang Hallelujah at the opening ceremonies, the voice of an Angel! This is hard for me to say, but it brought tears to my eyes! Proud to be Canadian!

I've long been a fan of K.D. One of the best true singers out there and she just keeps getting better.

I've like some of K.D.'s stuff, and she's certainly done a good job with that one.

Another one with similar vocal qualities is Pink who did a spectacular performance at the Grammy's. I didn't watch the show myself, it was Tadracket that turned me onto it and I have to say it brought me right back to listening to her again (always loved her, just haven't kept up with her music.

I made the comment to my wife last night that it was nice to hear someone that could actually sing do that song. I think last nights opening ceremony was better than China's.
