I'll give it some thought. I've never been much for the super-deformed look but I can definitely see the possibilities with this.

That Body does have potential. Will that mount right up with no modifications?

I say that bubble body with candy purple shot really light, and not backed with silver.

Give it that opaque look so you can see the goodies below...

Still haven't settled on a body but I must say you all make a persuasive argument. I am a hot rodder at heart. I assume you meant "translucent" rather than opaque?

OK, i bought the vintage Ford body from McCallister and have it trimmed up and sitting on the truck. No paint yet but I'm thinking White/Silver/Black/Purple colors to complement the chassis. My wife said black with purple ghost flames but that's beyond my skill level. Anyway, here it is without the body actually mounted yet. Hard to see the body without paint I'm afraid.

Did you get Dum Dums with your body too?

Well, probably, yes, but in this case no; I ordered a couple of bodies from McCallister about a month ago and Gary gave me some Dum Dums in the box. Mystery flavor, one was purple, the other kind of pineappley.

Beautiful rolling chassis.
It looks like that body is going to mount with the body posts up in the rear shock tower recesses? That means it will sit pretty high off the chassis, no?

Oh, dum dums, yeah, he always sends those. I'm not much on hard candy though so they just lay around until I thow them out.

As to the body mounting - I'm not quite sure how it will end up. This truck had some custom mounts made for it and I just put the rear back to stock for the picture. I've never had one of these bodies so this still needs some thought. :?
