Got Me A Couple Of Short Course Trucks

I've been watching the bay with interest for a few weeks now for a Slash .. for awhile there I was also looking at the HPI Blitz .. well I ended buying one of each ..the Blitz minus radio and reciever .. that's ok because I already have a spare nearly new HPI radio system sitting around...and modified Slash with all sorts of upgrades like 17mm hex hubs to run bigger 1/8 scale wheels and a brushless system..plus alloy front tower and arms all for only slightly more than a new one..here's the links what do you think:..the Blitz http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110472269240&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT and the Slash http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250561715900&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Nice! My brothers and I just got into racing short course trucks on our track. It's fun to run these trucks fender to fender and not bind them up. We also like the somewhat realistic look.

Well they both arrived within a couple of days of each other..what a blast the Traxxas is, super quick with the brushless system and a lipo..but the stock Blitz is no slouch either..going to start thrashing the life out of them to see what breaks..I really like the design and layout of the Blitz it's very well made..sure the Slash is proven but the Blitz is just a baby time will tell...
