AYK 240XG 480XG motor with ceramic shaft

Post by 59burst »

I'v been looking for this for years and found one a couple of weeks ago.
my favorite AYK motor was 240RE. it was cheap and very powerful. like kyosho lemans, 240 means 60x4=240. it was for 4 minute race with 1200mAh batery. 360 for 6 minutes and 480 for 8 minutes
most 480 motors were 21 to 23T as I remeber. and 240s were 18 to 19T

yes, it's really coo. but I worry about having broken shaft. ceramis is too stiff for offroad motor IMHO

Does anyone know why Ayk re-colored the 480R? Or which came first?
